 “Every action and every thought of a person leaves traces. Sometimes such traces are dark, sometimes light, sometimes deep, and sometimes very insignificant. Whatever the case may be, everything that one did in the past has its influence on one’s present, and the way one thinks and acts now will have an effect on one’s future destiny.

“Yet every one of us has the ability to purify and transform himself or herself as a soul,..” (91:7-10)

 “When such a transformation of the soul is reached, it becomes possible to heal the body as well.”

Bilalians, who became Muslims in the 20th century, are to today’s world, what the Jaahil Arabs were to the world of their time. The transformation of Bilalian lives today vis-a’-vis Al-Islam is like the transformation of the Arabs in the 7th century.

This is not a statement of ethnocentrism, race-consciousness or some backdoor attempt at black supremacy any more than The Prophet (pbuh) was pushing Arab Supremacy.
