Thomas Sowell is an American economist and social theorist who is currently a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. Sowell was born in North Carolina, but grew up in Harlem, New York.
He's from the Chicago School of Economics
Chicago School is a neoclassical economic schoolof thought that originated at the University of Chicago in the 1940s. The main tenets of the Chicago School are that free markets best allocate resources in an economy and that minimal or even no government intervention is best.
