FTWT: The Problem With Man's Perception of Woman and His Self

"We are talking about more than just emotional side of human life. We are talking about the whole human life, spiritual in its full picture.  Spiritual life in the full picture, spiritual life in the full picture..   It is not only emotional, it is also rational.  We are human beings, we are rational beings, we are thinking beings.  And that is what Allah calls us, not the philosophers, Allah calls us that, in scripture, and in the last scripture the Qur'an, Allah calls us thinking beings, and G'd says, The thinking men and the and the thinking women.  In the Qur'an.  The thinking men and the thinking women.  So G'd makes it clear to us that here is a property that is shared by man and woman, by male and female.  Here is a property shared by male and female, that they are both of this nature: thinking men and thinking women."  IWDM "My True Self"
