QSI: The Adhan: “Imam Mohammed(ra) on The Muslim Call To Prayer”

From Imam W. D. Mohammed’s Ramadan Session 2003—

“Our religion rejects these methods of control in the life of the masses of the people, we can't buy any of those methods. So, who are the true children of Abraham? The true Muslims. Abraham represents the one who will not get your attention by deceit but by rational teaching or preaching. He is the one who puts emphasis on rational truth in religion to appeal to man's reasoning, his intelligence, rather than to his mortal life, sensitivities and fears. Most of them rule us through our mortal life, the flesh appealing to our sensitivities and fears. We can't control people by those methods, we have to appeal to their rational thinking and call them to faith appealing to their intelligence as human beings with brains.
