What is the capacity for abstraction? Abstraction is the person’s ability to draw out the essence, the value and/or the utility from something “concrete“. So as to be able to apply that principle to problem solving in a similar area of work at another time and place. So, if you want to build a house, for example, “What is a house?”. A Roof, Walls, and A Door (the floor is a given and even windows are a detail). 

So, an Abstract of something is a low-resolution model of it. It is accurate [on the first pass even sufficient] but it’s not detailed.

Abstract Man (i.e., his reality as from Allah) is Man in his relationship to Woman.
