The 3 phases of the "Paradigm (learning) Curve"

Phase A:  Understanding the new rules (technology, technique).  You can't begin to solve problems rapidly (which is the function of a paradigm)until you know with precision the rules and regulations of the new paradigm.

Phase B:  Applying the new rules (technology, technique)to begin to solve problems rapidly.  New industries are born from the new rules in this phase.  This is also where the new paradigm is likely to begin to appear.  During this phase the natural and logical response to the ideas of the new paradigm is Rejection.  This is because there is more evidence of the success of the existing (old) paradigm than for the new one (p. 47).

Phase C: The beginning of the Paradigm Shift; a phase wherein it will, largely, be rejected by the operators of the Old Paradigm.  The old paradigm (rules; techniques and technology) becomes less effective in solving the larger and more complex problems of the Field.***How successful are they with the larger and more complex problems?
