QAWM[1] AND SON OF MAN AS GRASS AND 71: 17
“The Bible talks about grass. It says that the Prophet, Servant of G’d, describing himself – “What is the son of man but grass? Grass wants you to see how it got here. It wants to put in your hands that, that will bring it back again. It gives you its seed. Mr. Fard he put a lot of importance on bean especially the navy bean. White symbolized purity in his language why? Cause beans do the same thing grass does. A bean does a little more. The bean plant comes out of the seed and roots itself in the ground and sends its seed up into the view, into the light its seed opens up giving up its secrets.
The grass is not there to show off. It’s humble. It’s not vain. It’s simple straight up. And because it’s not vain, it gives you the secret of its life not in the ground. It’s right there in your eyes. It’s not enshrouded like the appleseed, you have to bite down into the apple to find the seed. (Whereas grass), its life as it expresses itself shows you the secret of its origin. So it’s a sign of open-ness, honesty and charity with knowledge. The knowledge of how life continues. The knowledge of how we are to continue the life.” IWDM
