QSI: Imam W. D. Mohammed(ra) "The Abrahamic Faith Communities"

“And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands which he fulfilled; He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!"  He answered: "But my promise is not within the reach of evil-doers." HQ 2:124

This subject is chosen for today because I believe most of us don’t really know the connections for these three faiths and we think Abraham is enough for us to say we identify with father Abraham, that is true. But why have the Jewish community and Muslim community and Christian community why have these three communities of faith identified with Prophet Abraham. Well because he’s mentioned in the Bible and he’s mentioned in the Quran, that is true. Still the question is why is he that?
