How Bubbles work “The Real Estate” market. The real estate bubble is because of the ease of credit with which loans were made to buy real estate. And that buying took properties off the market and the prices rose because there was more money chasing less real estate stock.

The Wall Street Bubble and the out of proportion stock prices is the same thing. (See #’s 3-5 below.)

Wealth inequality, where does it come from?

1. Ability to buy the best assets. (Veblen Goods)
2. Easier access to credit. (Cantillon Effect)
3. Being in the financial markets (investment banker, hedge fund owner or CEO of a SP 500 corporation; As the market cap of a corporation increases the compensation of the CEO also increases. However, in the current economy this isn’t done by “building a better mouse trap”. It is more so, likely to be done through taking advantage of cheap credit and doing Stock buybacks and disproportional P/E Ratios)

Furthermore, in actuality the Wall St. speculation game is a kind of “Musical Chairs, Hot Potato; Financial Russian Roulette, High-stakes gambling (Speculation [on an algorithmic basis the average time a stock is held is one minute like “the role of the dice”] w/OPM/Public Money; Glass-Steagall - repealed in 1999)

The Glass-Steagall Act, also known as the Banking Act of 1933 (48 Stat. 162), was passed by Congress in 1933 and prohibits commercial banks from engaging in the investment business. It was enacted as an emergency response to the failure of nearly 5,000 banks during the Great Depression.
