16: 80. It is Allah who made your habitations homes of rest and quiet for you (1); and made for you out of the skins of animals (tents for) dwellings which ye find so light (and handy) when ye travel and when ye stop (in your travels) (2);   and out of their wool and their soft fibers (between wool and hair) and their hair rich stuff and articles of convenience (to serve you) for a time. (3)

     81. It is Allah who made out of the things He created some things to give you shade; of the hills He made some for your shelter (4);  He made you garments to protect you from heat (5);   and coats of mail to protect you from your (mutual) violence (6).  Thus does He complete his favors on you that ye may bow to His will (in Islam).

All 6 of these things are things we can see man physically doing. But, Allah says "He did it"?  (Ja'ala)Each benefit is a transformation of circumstances that came about through the growth of human intelligence in reply to the forces or demands of nature.

"How has G'd improved upon life? He has improved upon life by effecting changes in man, in the environment, in everything.  That's how He improves upon life.  If G'd had wanted it perfect, He would have made it perfect.   He wanted it so that it could grow, more and more; and satisfy us more and more.  So that it could be enhanced by our human efforts.  He wanted it that way.  If He had wanted it perfect, He could have made it perfect; He could have made it so that man could not imagine any improvements.  But man can imagine improvements; … So G'd wants that improvement."
