29:33 Lot and the angels who brought punishment to Lot’s people 

29: 34-42 the cavalcade, particularly, of those who had developed their human capacities but used them to oppress themselves and others rather than serve humanity in accordance with Allah’s Will 

36-37 Shuaibe’s people; blasted

38 ‘Ad and Thamud the verse says -  “though they were gifted with Intelligence and Skill”; blasted

39: Qarun, Pharaoh and Haman: rejected Moses; “blasted”

40: Each one of them We seized for his crime: of them against some We sent a violent tornado (with showers of stones); some were caught by a (mighty) Blast; some We caused the earth to swallow up; and some We drowned (in the waters): it was not Allah Who injured (or oppressed) them: they injured (and oppressed) their own souls. [“By opposing you, punishment will be received”]

41: Mushriks and Kaafirs are like Spiders and their houses and their houses are the weakest and flimsiest of all houses.

42. Verily Allah doth know of (everything) whatever that they call upon besides Him: and He is Exalted (in power) Wise.
