Conservative estimates are that there are about 100t Neuronal connections in our brains and only about 10m are for “input” (taking in information from the outside – e.g., 5 senses). This means that only 0.00001% of our brain is connected to the outside. So, 99.99999% of our brain is for operations on the inside. And how much of our life is operated unconsciously? Only slightly less than that. 97% of what we do is automatic (Habit and Autonomic Nervous system). So, we are unconscious of 97% of what we do.
