UDL: Further into the Frontier of the Holy Qur'an ("10a")

55:  1. (Allah) Most Gracious! 

       2. It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 

       3. He has created man: 

       4. He has taught him speech (and Intelligence)

{v.4}   TAUGHT HIM SPEECH AND INTELLIGENCE

Sahih International: [And] taught him eloquence.

Pickthall: He hath taught him utterance.

Yusuf Ali: He has taught him speech (and intelligence).

Shakir: Taught him the mode of expression.

Muhammad Sarwar: and has taught him intelligible speech.

Mohsin Khan: He taught him eloquent speech. 

Arberry: and He has taught him the Explanation.

He made him capable of Abstract thought
