"No, it came from the devil, Satan. It says that "Satan made alluring to them", he puts the allurements in that. He makes the allurements. Not that it didn't have attractiveness before, but man obviously was not, he was not influenced  by the "zeenun" of the creation. But he was influenced by obedience. Hs influence was obedience. He was conscious of his taqwa, obedience to God. That was the greatest influence in him, not the attraction of the world that God had made, although God had made the world beautiful . But then the Satan came and he put allurements in the path to attract man's attention to the appeal of the world and that's what caused him to get in a situation where he could have his rational life undermined by Satan.

That's what Satan actually did. He undermined the man's rational basis. He destroyed the man's rational basis by leading him to rational lies. ..... We have to be careful of rationalizing Because once the rational spirit takes over, the mind can make anything right that's wrong."
