Maureen Greene James serves as FTI Consulting’s Vice President of Global Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. Ms. Greene James leads the firm’s efforts to attract, retain and develop diverse talent and maintain an inclusive culture. She plays a pivotal role in creating and leading the diversity, inclusion and belonging strategy in partnership with the firm’s Executive Committee and segment leadership globally.
Ms. Greene James joined FTI Consulting from Cognizant, where she was N.A. Leader of Inclusion and Leadership Development. Prior to Cognizant, Ms. Greene James spent her career in various people leadership roles with American International Group, Washington Mutual (now JPMorganChase), and PwC.
As founder and President of MGJ Speaks!, Maureen speaks at national conferences and universities on D&I and belonging, career development, culture and engagement and professional leadership brand. Maureen has been recognized for her professional accomplishments in Black Enterprise magazine and is the recipient of the “Most Powerful and Influential Woman” Award for the state of Florida by the National Diversity Council. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a lifetime member of the NAAAHR.
Maureen holds a BS from Syracuse University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, the Professional in Human Resources certification from HRCI, and the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional certification. Originally from NY, Maureen resides in the Tampa Bay area, although she vows to be a New Yorker for life! She is an avid lover of fabulous shoes who enjoys family time, fitness, traveling, writing, reading, quote-collecting, a good laugh and any vacation that involves warm weather and a beach.
