Your Host Doshon Farad covers : open season on the Young Black Male. With the recent killing in florida, trayvon Martin, and many others were asking the question " is it open season on the Young Black Male. Doshon Farad is a broadcast journalist who hosts programs dealing with issues affecting people of African descent in America and across the World. Mr.Doshon Farad was educated at William Paterson University in Wayne,NJ,where he majored in Communications and African-American studies. Mr. Farad has been pursuing journalism since his freshmen year in college in 1996. He has over 15 years of experience in broadcast journalism, TV and radio. Some of Mr. Farad's influences include Gil Noble,Tony Brown,Ed Gordon,and Tavis Smiley. He delves into issues affecting people of African descent across the world. He speaks on a wide range of topics ranging from history to politics and World Affairs and economics to entertainment. He is also the head columnist and host of the Movement Magazine headquartered in Orange,NJ, a publication and show that discusses literature, current events,and entertainment. He is also a contributing reporter for the Amsterdam News out of Harlem,NY. He travels across the country covering stories ranging from politics to crime and current events to entertainment. His articles have been featured in several publications in print and online. Mr.Farad was the co-host of a weekly live streamed internet radio show called, "FYI: What the Hell is Going On?", a program which discusses current events and entertainment.
