More about the author:
Sherrad Oneil Glosson is a Detroit Michigan native, born and raised. Growing up in Detroit afforded him good and bad experiences all of which has helped him to evolve into the man he is today. He was raised in the church coming from generations of preachers and a mother who is an Evangelist and Step-Father who is an Elder. While being in church he discovered his musical talents and played the drums.
Sherrad graduated from Detroit City High where he gained his love for Basketball which led him to play in college at Delta College where he majored in English. His life took another route once he entered college, and was always from home life, he was introduced to a new reality, and everything that he was taught growing up found its way out the window. He found the love of the “Street” and it loved him back. But the street life gave a harsh reality, one that would lead him to be locked up behind bars, and serving a sentence of six years in the Michigan penal system. All of which followed what was supposed to be a memorable 21st birthday.
As life changing as this was for Sherrad he chose to turn this experience into a triumph. While serving his time he discovered yet another talent that he had, and it was writing. At times he would find his-self writing at three and four o'clock in the morning to escape to where he wanted to be.The result of his writing came about in the form of a book entitled "When Water Becomes Thicker Than Blood". It only took him two months to write it. He started researching ways of how to publish a book from prison...
