Naieema Jackson teaches in both the accelerated and traditional B.S.N. programs of the Presbyterian School of Nursing. She primarily teaches in the adult medical-surgical courses and the health informatics course. Jackson is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in nursing where she is focusing her research on her passion: retention of nursing students in nursing programs. She is a certified nurse educator who is passionate about the success of nursing students.
She has been a registered nurse since July 2006. Her clinical background includes medical/surgical, critical care and community health nursing.
Jackson is a proud wife and mother. Recreationally, she serves with her family to feed the homeless and the elderly. She loves to read and to mentor young black women.
