Women's Herstory and De Ooman Leadas ob de Gullah/Geechee

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) continues the celebration of the Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio Women's Herstory Celebration with this broadcast honoring the female leaders of the Gullah/Geechee Nation.   The Gullah/Geechee Nation exist from Jacksonville, NC to Jacksonville, FL and encompasses the Sea Islands and thrity to thirty five miles inland to the St. John's River.  As the journey for global recognition and international human rights protection began, there were Gullah/Geechee women in the forefront.  This broadcast will bring forth their story.
