Gullah/Geechee Seafood Festival and Famlee Day 2016

Tune in as Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation (www.QueenQuet.com) discusses the upcoming "Gullah/Geechee Seafood Festival & Famlee Day."  The Gullah/Geechee Fishing Association hosts this event every even year.  Due to the damage done to Hunting Island by Hurricane Matthew, the event will take place on historic St. Helena Island, SC where it all began.  The Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition, All Mobile Productions (AMP™) and the Martin Luther King Park Beautification Committee will all gather together at the Dr. Marting L. King Park to host the celebration which will also provide the community with information on rebuilding and restoration.
