Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition Celebrates 20 Years!

Tune in as Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation discusses the 20th Anniversary of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition!  The Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition is the sponsor of Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio and also a co-sponsor of Gullah/Geechee TV.  This is the premiere organization for the advocacy and protection of the rights of Gullah/Geechee worldwide.  The organization was the first one ot exist in the world with "Gullah/Geechee" in their name and had the first website in the world with "Gullah/Geechee" united in it.  They also launched the first online course on Gullah/Geechee culture via NetNoir to ever exist.  They have worked to pass local and federal laws on behalf of the Gullah/Geechee and to have Gullah/Geechee issues represented in international areanas via media and the United Nations.
