Alesia Mays - Nutrition Program Assistant Chats About EFNEP Program for GA

I have Alesia Mays in the house.  She is a Nutrition Program Assistant for the University of Georgia and employee by Macon- Bibb County Cooperative Extension.  She provides educational services through the (EFNEP) Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. 

Alesia is on a mission to help families eat better for less and to locate various resources available in the Middle Georgia area.

Alesia, (Chef Lisa) enjoys watching cooking shows on the Food Network, baking banana bread and muffins for friends and family. Her love for cooking began at the tender age of nine. 

She is a Macon Native educated in Bibb County Public Schools who serves the community as a Bibb County 4-H Military Outreach Coordinator, 4-H Team Captain for March of Dimes (March for Babies).  Also, she is a musician and poet, who is known as an encourager in Bibb County.

Alesia is a military wife, mother and patriotic Christian woman of faith and virtue. She is married to Master Sargent Ronnie Mays Jr. and has one son Chief Petty Officer Reginald Glover Jr., who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy
