Deloris J. Baskin Speaks Up For The People - Your Voice; Your Vote Presentation

Welcome to Happy Talk Radio.  I am Gloria Stanley, your host with the most dynamic talk from coast-to-coast.  Happy Talk is a family friendly show designed to fulfilled your mind, body and soul in the totality of happiness.

When I lived in Atlanta, I was a member of Cascade United Methodist Church.  During my fellowship at Cascade, I met some amazing people who have impacted my life for life.  I call it divine intervention, a path Christ-centered for me to grow in God's Grace, and connect with the friendship and a mentor for life, Deloris J. Baskin.  You may want to know who is this lady.  Well, I can tell you she is a person of faith who cares about people, my indisputable friend.

The Honorable Deloris J. Baskin recently retired from the City of South Fulton, GA where she served as Executive Assistant to the first Mayor of the new City of South Fulton, which is the 5th largest city in Fulton County, and the 8th largest city in the State of Georgia.  Deloris assumed the position of Accountability Court Supervisor for Fulton County Juvenile Court.  She was direct oversite to CHOICES, Juvenile Drug Court, Partners Behaviorial Health Court and Hope Family Treatment Court. 

Deloris truly has the gift of hospitality.  She enjoys doing whatever she can to make people feel loved, encouraged, affirmed and happy.  She is the proud mother of one daughter, Shannon Dion, and a member of CUMC where she serves as usher and member of the Gospel Choir.  And she is a Charter Member of Cascade United Toastmasters.  She served in numerous positions on the Club level and as Area Governor, 2013 - 2014.

She is a Distinguished Toastmaster and today we will be gifted to here her speech titled "Your Voice; Your Vote."
