Urban Farm Sista - Inspires the youth in her community to grow their own food

Nadia Ruffin (Urban Farm Sista) graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and is working on a Master’s in Entomology. She has years of experience in floriculture and horticulture from her family’s floral shop, Blossoms Florist located in Cincinnati. Aside from her work with the county, She is an Urban Farmer, Entomologist and owner of a small produce company called Quiwi Produce. She grows food for the community and also teaches about organic urban farming/gardening and entomology via multiple social media avenues such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube. She is a strong advocate for teaching sustainable agriculture and self sustainability.
