SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON AUG.23  "TAMING THE TONGUE BITE YOUR TONGUE" James 3:1-12 

Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how a great a matter a little fire kindleth! (James 3: 5)

but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With thetongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.
