We tend to be more impulsive in the beginning of making decisions because we don't know yet what we are dealing with. We are just meeting another soul and the history of their life to us is blank so we tend to fill in the blanks, accept anything they say, pledge an unspoken loyality and still we do not know yet who we are dealing with. How can we slow ourselves down, think about what we are seeing, hearing, feeling and then making a decision?
