More than an artist! Donta Deisel aka EQ Philly is a Philadelphia veteran in the entertainment world. With over 15 years of underground hip hop/club status, Donta is still going strong with his movement. A West Philadelphian, Donta Deisel remains strong, assured, and diligent in his endeavors to be a power house in the music and film industry. A producer, artist, and film director, Donta Deisel is the total package.

EQ Philly (former pseudo name) attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia where he took up “music and video production”. That venture allowed him access to intern at Sigma Sound Studios, which was one of the major studios in the city in the mid 90’s. He had the opportunity to work with premiere Producer Scott Storch and rhyme alongside of “Black Thought” from the “Roots” crew. As a night manager at the infamous “Dances Nite Club, EQ also opened up for such acts as Wu Tang, KRS One, Biggie Smalls, Dru Hill, Jay Z, and more.
