A singer is Born  Charlesetta Broom on December 25, in Dayton , Ohio. of
Blackfoot, Mongolian,and  African American ancestry. Raised by her mother JoselaneSchere Berry Classic Pianist , and Father legendary Gospel  singer Rev. Charles W. Fair.
Music became a big part of her childhood early on. Since her Dad was on the label United Artists, he would bring home his latest albums and would also bring those of Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson and Natalie Cole. For her to sing along with.

By age 10 she picked up the saxophone, started running track and field. Also she started working at the Forum n

used to tape herself singing. Charlie copied a few of Michael Jackson tunes . After hearing her voice on the tape and being amazed, her Mother took her under her  direction.  Teaching her how to project her voice and hold a mic . A gifted singer, Charlie went on tour with her father's traveling revival show making her singing debut in Michigan. Charlie performed on weekends because she was in school, by 18 Charlie had her first paying job. At her Uncles Club " The Jazz Central".January 14th 1991 Her Father died of a Heart Attack.

In late October of 1991 Charlie started the Band Complexx,  with her now ex-husband Craig Robinson. The rhythm-and-blues vocal duo became known for their electrifying live stage show. Touring Japan, Soul Korea, Hawaii and all over the US. Together in 2008 they recorded a CD called " Too Late To Cry " With her writing skills being to emerge. Charlie found her calling in song. Charlie Started touring with slave, the Ohio players as a back ground vocalist. Long time friend and mentor  Mr. Marshall Jones Bassist for the Ohio Players took her under his wings.
Charlie walked the red carpet with Mr. Jones in 2008 the bright lights gave charlie a glance of the life she wanted to live.
