The Beatitudes -Requirements for true greatness

Our studies of the beattitudes continue. Our scripture reference is taken from Matthew 6:33. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all the things will be added unto you.The Kingdom of Gos must become our priority. We must put God first in our life an fill our thought with His desires.We must take His character as our pattern and serve and obey Him completely.

We often start out seeking God, but then we become distracted with the cares of the world and take our eyes off of God. We must pursue to know God and to be known of Him.  Jesus said in Matthew 7:13  - Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction and many go in thereat; Because straight is the gate an narrrow is the way, which lead unto life and few that be that find it.
