We are continuing our study of the 4th Chapter of Ephesiand.

Highlights:

Being one with Christ does not destroy our individuality. God has given each of us gifts and abilities to be used in the House of God. We must overcome the little things that try to dissolve unity with other believers. Differences are minor and should not break the unity of the Spirit or the flow of God We all grow at different levels in the Lord. Our experiences are very different and cannot be measured, because we are different.  The Lord knows our differences however, we will all come into the unity of the faith as we learn and apply the word of God in our lives..

It is human tendency to overestimate what we can do by ourselves and underextimate what we can do as a group. Our pace may be differenct but our goals are the same. The Holy Spirit teaches us temperance and long suffering and patience. Our spiritual growth is different, our response is different because we are different. Don't allow differences to bring about division.  Follow God's example in everything you do, because we are His dear children.

Our aim must be to find out what is pleasing to the Lord.  Not just what you think or what you feel, but according to the Word of God. Do that which is pleasing to God and not to our flesh or our traditions. Jesus said in His word that no good thing dwells in the flesh.  That is the purpose of the new man, born of the Spirit. Old things pass away and behold, all things become new.  All things! Wemust always strive for excellency because we are representatives of God in the flesh and not after the flesh.
