Greetings animal lovers,
It appears that more & more, we are hearing about a charity that has abused their priviledges, by mishandling funds designed for the recipients. Whether the charity is for children, the elderly, wounded warriors, housing, churches or animals, it seems to be a common occurence. Why do you think that is? We have our opinions, wish to hear yours.
The State of Florida, Dept. of Agriculture, receives numerous applications a year on those applying for a 501c3 status. The numbers are staggering. This is where the Public can be a true asset to the Dept. If you suspect, possible mishandling of funds, please report it to the agency. If you see something, say something. Sending a complaint may be done anonymously. We will guide you on what to do. Here is a perfect example of when a few good samaritans stepped forward & blew the whistle. Let this be an example for others.
