Rescue Failure or Foster Failure? You Decide.

January 17th, 2019 marks the one year anniversary date of Chester's death.  What really happened to Chester? Chester was a dog that was put in a foster home.  True animal advocates still have never received answers about Chester's demise.  One will never know the true story.  Why did Karyn take Chester in the night time to have him put down?  This is what happens when you put a dog back in the same household where he was attacked by another dog.  That is like putting a child back in the home where they were being molested. We believe Karyn used bad judgement on Chester's behalf. Karyn is the owner of Safe and Sound Animal Rescue, in N.J. Reputable rescues  properly screen their potential fosters/forever homes. Extensive screening is put in place to protect the animal's safety. Home checks are done. Applications are mandatory. Checking references, including the vet's office is part of the process. Not with Karyn. This is a prime example of taking an animal with no plan in place for that dog. Prime example. A dog named, Lexi that was found shot in the leg in the State of South Carolina. Lexi was being crossposted & networked through a facebook page that was helping to spread the word on Lexi's pending surgery.  A  kind & giving person, by the name of Adrian stepped up, not only gave monies toward Lexi's surgery but offered to foster Lexi until she was all healed.  Tune in to hear how this brand new foster Mom was lied about on social media by Karyn herself.  Just 3 days post op, Lexi was snatched away from the foster in South Carolina and days later ended up in NJ, with no place for Lexi to go. You call this responsible rescue?  We do not.
