Coach Stone Podcast - Tony Plagman - Guardian Caps

Joining Coach Stone tonight on Coach Stone Podcast is Tony Plagman.  Tony is the National Sales Manager for Guardian Caps and is in his 5th year with the company.  As a graduate of Georgia Tech and a former professional baseball player, Tony was able to stay in the sports industry with Guardian who, founded by fellow GT grads, strives to find sports safety solutions.  Tony states, “I’m proud to be on a team that continues to innovate and help athletes from programs like Clemson, Penn State, Oklahoma, Texas, as well as around 2,000 high schools and youth teams.”

The purpose of the Cap is to reduce the force of impact upon collision experienced by football and lacrosse players and to prove that soft-shell helmet technology is superior to that of a hard shell. This project stems from our passion for player safety, foundation in material sciences and the generally accepted physics behind impact reduction.
