I am redeemed, bought with a price

The Savior has changed my whole life

If anybody asks you

Just who I am

Tell them ... I am redeemed.

I have heard so many people who say they are saved by the grace of God also use the words "But ..." I AM NOT PERFECT. How is it that you are NOT perfect?

Didn't the Lord say "Be ye perfect as I am Perfect," this saith the Lord. He would not tell us to do something that is beyond our means or capacity, so why are you not perfect?

I challenge you that the reason you are holding on to the guilt stains of the past is because either you do not truly believe you are wholly redeemed, OR you are holding on to the piece of you that was already forgiven in case you need it for a future transgression you fear you might commit.

If you are truly redeemed, you ARE in a position to judge others and not allow them to get away with the slightest default that is in opposition to the Name of the Lord or the power of that Name.

You say "I can't judge you," but the truth is when you are truly REDEEMED, you most assuredly can. If all things are made new and the old man has passed away, is dead, then you most assuredly ARE in a position to judge others - not based on who you WERE, but because of who you are RIGHT NOW.

If the weight of the sins of your past are holding you back from being who you are in Christ ... then that is a yoke on your neck that you aren't supposed to be carrying.

So are you or aren't you? Redeemed? TRULY as saved and REDEEMED as you say you are?
