Sheran Zellous White is no stranger to untimely death. After losing family members to violence, a fire, and a heart attack, her grandson died at the age of 22 from cancer. In her first book, I Am Ready to Come Right Away, Sheran shares the pain and sorrow of her grandson’s death and also where he died - in prison. After yet another painful loss in her life, she describes finding peace and hope in the aftermath. This book will help those grappling with the loss of a loved one, giving those grieving a reason to put their faith in God so that the impact of death is lessened, as Paul described in 1 Corinthians 15:54-55: “Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
