Sheldon Williams has experience in both military and public service. He has served a total of 18 years in the military first as a combat medic in the Army then transferring to the Air Force National Guard where he served as an Emergency Management Specialist.  Additionally, he has served as a public servant for 21 years. Although his primary discipline was in law enforcement, he has distinguished himself as one of a few individuals who has certifications in all areas of public safety to include fire, hazmat, and EMS. As a police officer, he became a subject matter expert in tactics and explosives and was a key team leader Pittsburgh's SWAT team and the Bomb Squad. He retired in 2011 to pursue his call to ministry by serving as one of the Administrative Pastors at Allegheny Center Alliance Church and is now the Homestead Campus Pastor. Sheldon joins John to discuss his views on the recent kililng in Minneapolis and state of race relations in the church and society.
