Susan Kantz has been to Kenya on numerous occasions and has worked through her nonprofit organization In The Light to provide for widows and orphans there. Here is what their webste says about In The Lilght:

In The Light began as a Christian contemporary band performing at local churches and events throughout the area. The group members began donating their concert proceeds to children with musical talent who did not have the resources to purchase their own instruments. After several years an official 501c3 nonprofit was created with the mission to help individuals and organizations purchase musical instruments and equipment. The nonprofit funded a handful of projects including buying a professional grade trumpet which allowed a young man to pursue a degree in music, and purchasing guitars for a local church camp.

Susan is a musician but has also recently launched a line of jewelry called Everyday Mission Jewelry to help fund her missions work. Susan joins John today to talk about her call to Kenya, her music, and her new business venture.
