Shawn and Sarah McGonagle: Purposeful Real Estate

Shawn and Sarah McGonagle are Pittsburgh-based real estate investors, rehabbers, landlords, Air BNB hosts, and entrepreneurs who started their journey in 2013 after a series of events, including attending Dr. John Stanko's purpose seminar. Shawn and Sarah met at Grove City College where they were both resident hall assistants. They have 3 children ages 5, 3, and 1. Sarah is a licensed Realtor with RE/MAX Select Realty. Shawn is a financial analyst at Bechtel Plant Machinery. He has been able to cut his schedule back to part-time to enable him to manage the rehabbing side of their business and spend more time with the family. Shawn and Sarah manage a portfolio of 11 rentals in Pittsburgh as well as an Air BNB in the Laurel Highlands area. They also opened the Pittsburgh Event Studio in Verona. PA in the fall of 2019. The small event space holds up to 50 people and is perfect for baby showers, bridal showers, and even small weddings. Their greatest joy is not building a business or wealth though- its serving God and others. As a couple they are excited to see their pursuit of purpose continue to grow and develop in the years to come!  They join John today to share how their purpose journey has led them to where they are today.
