Dr. Steve Bowersox is the Chair of Worship Leadership and Production Technologies at the University of Mobile, a Christian university known throughout the world for its excellence in skill and heart. He is also the Pastor of worship at Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile AL. As a keynote speaker with Seminars 4 Worship and a guest lecturer at many conferences, Steve has traveled the world teaching on worship, leadership and musical excellence. Steve hold several degrees in music and business, and has authored The Worship Musician’s Theory Course, Vocal Aerobics: A Fitness Program for Your Voice, “MIDI”anites Redeemed and the Worship Leadership Survival Kit. He has extensive experience as an arranger, producer, worship leader and studio musician, and has toured with several prominent musicians. Steve is proficient in voice, wind instruments, guitar, bass, electronic keyboards and MIDI and is recognized as a pioneer and leader for technology development in the local church.  Steve is blessed to be married to his wife Barbie and is the proud father to 7 children with 2 sets of twins and currently three wonderful married in family. Steve joins John today to talk about their days traveling with Worship International as well as Steve's views on church worship and music and Christian higher education.
