The Royals' heart and soul is going to be out for 2019 as Sal Perez has undergone Tommy John Surgery to repair UCL damage. For 2019, he leaves a big hole in the lineup, behind the plate, and as a leader on the field. How do the Royals cope with losing their star for the year?
We looked at the directions the Royals might go, from sticking with rookies with skills, to signing veterans, to bringing familiar faces back. A veteran seems more like the Royals speed, but they sure do like Meibrys Viloria, so what's a team to do?
