More on the Holiday Farm Fire Floodplain Ordinance

LIVE TODAY @ 4:00 pm Pacific, It's the Boze Noze Show! Our Board Chair, Heather Buch, who represents the area destroyed in the Holiday Farm Fire voted yesterday to enact a new more restrictive floodplain ordinance that will cost the victims of that fire both time and money when they want to rebuild their homes if they are located in the floodplain. Our Governor continues to make unscientific decisions around preventing the spread of COVID. The rest of the Board also voted to adopt an Affordable Housing Action Plan that stressed government doing the building and taxation to pay for it rather than removing barriers to private sector housing.
