Omar Henry

The “Windy City” of Chicago has produced everything from mob bosses to marinara sauces, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and even a Senator who would eventually become the first African-American President. In addition to these accomplishments, Chicago is no stranger to producing World-Class prize fighters. Hall of Famers Barney Ross and Tony Zale are both from “Chi-Town”, and in future years the name Omar Henry may rest amongst them.

Currently toting a record of 10-0-0 (8 KOs), this young man from Chicago is a star in the making. Henry grew up in a hard working “blue collar” family, and like many athletic children played everything from baseball, basketball, and even gymnastics. After watching Roy Jones, Jr. in battle, the 14 year-old Henry decided he wanted to start boxing. At the age of 16, after moving to Houston, TX, the athletically gifted Henry began his amateur boxing career. Today, we are witnessing the 23 year-old fighters’ name being echoed as the number one boxing star to watch from obscure boxing websites to ESPN’s main boxing correspondent Dan Rafael. Being courted and signed by Bob Arum of Top Rank Promotions is always precursor positive.

Get intimate with Omar Henry as Lady Fontaine and Dr Jean Cirillo talk with him about his boxing career and his future. Lady Fontaine will give him a few more predictions LIVE on the air!
