This evening our guests will be Marla T-Kendall who is the founding member of Clayton County HOA United for Change and, Derek Young who is the President of  Homeowner's Association of The Villages At Lake Ridge in Clayton County, Georgia. They will both engage and educate many of us on how Homeowner's Associations work or how some don't work. They will share points of power on steps that you as a resident of a Homeowner's Association can do that will get your Homeowner's Association and elected officials to work for you and your community. How many times have we heard speeches and spoken words by many of our officials that WE helped to get elected to office only to feel like at times you had been thrown "under the bus" when you needed them to stand with you or to start with the change that was promised would come if elected. However, "the promise wasn't delivered and the change never came, at least not to our Homeowner's Association. This isn't happening only in some Homeowner's Association in Clayton County, Georgia but this is happening in Homeowner's Associations around the globe.
