What is Death with Dignity? What ISN'T Death with Dignity?

Death with Dignity is the ability to choose to end your life if you are terminal ill.It is medical aid in dying. it is NOT physician assisted suicide. Some say it's a right we should all have if we find ourselves in such a terrible situation.

Others say it's assisted suicide and killing when people are at their most vulnerable.They say terminally ill patients should be first screened for depression. 

In this program, we will explain what is in the legislation, pros and cons and where various states stand across the nation.

We hope to include a patient who's looking for a physican to help her in Washington, DC but so far hasn't found one willing to work with her.
