Welcome to the “5G & Pacific Northwest National Laboratory: Shaping Technologies of National Importance” podcast series part four on the Internet of Things, hosted on Government Technology Insider.  

The Internet of Things – it connects everything from security cameras to sensors from doorbells to even smart parking garages. Although IoT has been buzzed about for years, it can really take off with 5G connectivity, according to experts with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Verizon. To learn more, we are speaking with these experts about IoT uses, challenges, and the future shaped by connected devices.
