With the prevalence of mass shootings in the United States over the past year, and especially the incident in San Bernardino last week, the subject of workplace violence is unfortunately top-of-mind. Learn what law firms can do to prevent tragedy from occuring in the office.

Jack Vaughan is the former Administrative Partner at Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright), having retired at the end of 2012 after 27 years there. He now is a special consultant for Control Risks, a risk management consultancy.

John Lane formerly served for 25 years with the Los Angeles Police Department where he developed its Threat Management Unit and also founded the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP).  He currently serves as a Director within Control Risks Crisis & Resilience Consulting practice, focusing on issues of workplace violence prevention. He specializes in threat assessment, case management, and the creation of prevention programs.
