"Is Religion On The Cross"

With relgion now becoming big business, are churches still doing there job of teaching?  Do Mega Churches really fulllfill the needs of members or a select few?  How many churches really reach out the down hearted, example: homeless, drug addiction, prositution, youth violence, military, families.
