Art DiNick is an Engineer by profession. In 1977 he was in a horrific race car accident. The car rolled over three times and broke apart. The only thing saving him from decapitation was the flimsy roll bar. He thought he was going to die. He caught on fire and spent six months in the hospital. In those few moments between life and death his entire life flashed before him. His book, As Fate Would Have It, discusses the events that he relived in those few brief seconds and how he learned to live for the future, rather than the past. He believes that most people dwell on their past and the bad decisions they made. They don’t understand that some of those decisions were determined by fate and some by free will. There is nothing they can do about changing their past. They let fear of failure stop them from moving on. They don’t accept that they could be missing out on all the wonderful things that could go right in the future. Learn in this this episode how fate plays a role in your future.
