The late Dr Chris Gugas, a close friend of co-host Dr John was one of the top polygraph (lie detector) experts in the country and President of the American Polygraph Society. Chris was also formerly in the CIA. Dr Gugas administered the polygraph test to James Earl Ray, the person who shot Martin Luther King, Jr in 1968. His job was to determine if James Earl Ray was involved in the shooting alone or was there a conspiracy. Chris' partner, Joe Paolella, former Secret Service agent to 4 US Presidents and my very close friend, was partners with Chris and Joe will be coming on the show this Saturday to discuss the Polygraph and famous people who were administered the test. Joe was the one who guarded JFK's Limousine after the assassination and discovered a bullet hole in the windshield which was never reported. Dr John the first and only person Joe discussed this with since the assassination. Dr John and Joe continue to research this and uncover more information.
