Pastor Larry Watkins is the Pastor of Salt and Light Ministries.  Salt and Light Ministry is a progressive ministry that works outside the walls of a traditional church.  This ministry covers people that may have issue with traditional churches due to church hurts or bad ministry experiences.  Pastor Larry covers, prays for and counsels his member to get them to the point they are ready to join a regular ministry.  
 
Pastor Larry was born in the Nation’s Capital and grew up in the suburbs of the city.  He was educated in the Prince Georges County School system and attended Prince Georges Community College.  Pastor Larry entered the ministry and the young age of 15 and has been preaching and ministering for more than 30 years.  Pastor Larry has been married to his beautiful wife Shahadah for Five years.  He is the proud father of six girls and has seven grandchildren.  
 
Pastor Larry has a passion and a heart for Men's Ministry.   He has spent a large part of his ministry working to empower men to become good men and thereby helping to improve homes, marriages, families and communities.  His love and compassion for people has pushed him to preach teach the unadulterated Word of God in a way that everybody can understand it and apply it to their everyday lives.  
 
Pastor Larry strives to change the world one heart, one soul, one life at a time.
